Options for getting to and from the airport include SCCA volunteer drivers, public transit, and private services.
SCCA Volunteer Services Transportation Program
Volunteer drivers can provide transportation to and from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) and Boeing Field for SCCA patients and their primary caregivers who come from outside of western Washington. To request transportation, please contact Volunteer Services at (206) 606-1075 or email@example.com at least three business days prior to your travel date, and provide the following information:
- Patient name
- Passenger name
- Date of travel
- Amount of luggage per person
- Pick-up and drop-off locations
- Home and cell phone numbers
- Airline and flight number that arrives or departs from Seattle
- The exact time of your flight’s scheduled arrival to Seattle or departure from Seattle
Volunteer Services will contact you to confirm your transportation arrangements.
Bus transportation between Sea-Tac airport and downtown Seattle. At the airport, the bus departs from Level 3 of the Parking Garage, Island 2. The bus stop closest to SCCA is at the Westin Seattle Hotel at 1900 5th Ave. At the Westin, meet the bus at the Westlake Avenue entrance near the flagpole.
Shuttle Express provides transportation to and from SeaTac airport, 24 hours a day. At the airport parking garage, go to the third floor (in the center of the garage behind the ground-transportation desk). Inside the airport terminal, look for the red and black signs. Call one day in advance to make a reservation for transportation to the airport. (Call three days in advance before holidays.)
Sound Transit Central Link Light Rail
The Central Link light rail runs between Westlake Center and Sea-Tac Airport from 5 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily.
